1. What we collect
- Mess members: name, phone number, member ID, plan, meals taken (date and time), payments, dues, Hakka coin balance and café orders.
- Café guests: the name you type (optional), table number, the items ordered and any note. No login is needed.
- Technical data: basic error reports from the website and app (page, browser type, error message) to fix problems.
2. Why we use it
Only to run the restaurant and mess: preparing your orders, recording meals, managing plans, dues and coins, sending reminders about your plan, and keeping the service working and secure.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. It is stored with our service providers — Supabase (database, servers in Mumbai, India) and Cloudflare (website hosting) — who process it only to provide the service. Reminders may be sent by the restaurant over WhatsApp.
4. On your device
The website and app save a few things on your phone so they open quickly and work on weak internet: your bag, your login session, and the last menu and screens you viewed. This is cleared when you log out. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. Each member can see only their own records, and only the restaurant owner can see all records.
6. How long we keep it
Meal, payment and order records are kept as business records. Technical error reports are deleted automatically after 90 days.
7. Your choices
You can ask the restaurant to see or correct your details, or to close your mess account. Closing an account stops login; payment and meal records may be kept for accounting.
